Alexandria Wynter Russell, M.S., CCC-SLP

Alexandria is a medical speech language pathologist & private practice owner of The Wynter Wellness Group, where she serves adults and seniors with chronic conditions. Dealing with her father’s journey with Parkinson’s and dementia over the pandemic, inspired her to start a private practice. She is proud to be the only Black, woman-owned SLP practice in Philadelphia solely serving the adult population. She started her private practice last year and is growing her business, while she works full time in home health. Her practice uses a holistic approach to speech therapy and infuses 5 wellness pillars into every session including: advocacy, health literacy, nutrition, community, and mental health. This allows her patients to not only achieve their cognitive communicative, swallowing, or voice goals; but successfully navigate their healthcare journey.

Alex is also the cofounder of SHE x SHINES (est. 2018), a business community for women who wear multiple hats. SXS provides mentorship, events, podcast, and a TV show to help you control your time while DIYing your business.
