February 19, 2022

WHEN: SLP Live will happen on February 19, 2022, via zoom. Playback recording will be available until April 19, 2022.

WHAT: In this online conference, we will discuss best practices in AAC, language acquisition, social-emotional learning, dyslexia, and childhood apraxia of speech. We will explore ideas of how to implement evidence-based therapy practices into daily therapy sessions and how to bridge the research to practice gap. We will also explore different considerations to keep in mind when running a diverse caseload and working in a school setting.

HOW: Live Q&A webinars will be available through Zoom. Access to links will be provided once you register. By registering, you will have access to course handouts, episode transcriptions, private group discussions, video playback recordings, additional resources, a certificate, live Q&A sessions, and be able to earn ASHA CEUs. It is $35 to register for the event. Refer to the next session for more information regarding ASHA CEUs. Click on the “Register” button to access all the course materials.

For each course taken during the conference, participants can earn 0.1 ASHA CEUs for a maximum of 0.6 ASHA CEUs. In order to receive ASHA CEUs, you must complete a course evaluation and pass each course exam by achieving an 80% or higher score in order to receive a certificate of completion. Your participation will be submitted to the ASHA Continuing Education Board once all course requirements are met.

ASHA CEUs are awarded by the ASHA Continuing Education Board once eligibility requirements are met. The exam and course evaluation for these courses must be submitted by February 28, 2022 at 8 pm EDT. If you do not correctly and completely submit these materials by the deadline, you will not be eligible to receive ASHA CEUs.
