Early Intervention Cohort

Starting June 9, 2022 – June 9, 2023

WHEN: The EI Cohort begins June 8, 2022 via the Tassel platform. These 3 courses are included in the SLP Connect monthly & yearly memberships. Non-members can join the EI Cohort by purchasing the course package.

WHAT: In this online cohort, we will discuss the best evidence-based practices in early intervention team and caregiver coaching, and how to see clients privately.

The membership also includes:

1-on-1 coaching calls with Cara, M.A., CCC-SLP through bi-weekly office hours.
EI therapy materials and parent handouts on fingerplay & movement songs, early gestures/signs, daily routine strategies, the communication building blocks, and more!
Earn certificates and up to .3 ASHA CEUs
Connect with Cara and other cohort members in a private group

HOW: Video playbacks, handouts, etc are available on the Tassel platform only. Access to links will be provided once you register. By registering, you will have access to course handouts, episode transcriptions, private group discussions, video playback recordings, additional resources, a certificate, live Q&A sessions, and be able to earn ASHA CEUs. It is $59 to register for the cohort if you are not an SLP Connect member. Refer to the next session for more information regarding ASHA CEUs. EARN ASHA CEUS

For each course taken in this cohort, participants can earn 0.1 ASHA CEUs for a maximum of 0.3 ASHA CEUs. In order to receive ASHA CEUs, you must complete a course evaluation and pass each course exam by achieving an 80% or higher score in order to receive a certificate of completion.

The exam and course evaluation for the recorded self-study are due by June 30, 2022 at 8 pm EDT or the by the last day of the subsequent months to be recorded for that month. Your participation will be submitted to the ASHA Continuing Education Board once all course requirements are met. ASHA CEUs are awarded by the ASHA Continuing Education Board once eligibility requirements are met.

If you do not correctly and completely submit these materials by the deadline, you will not be eligible to receive ASHA CEUs.
